Why DSRIP

Each DSRIP measure is touching the lives of patients and their families. Many providers have shared touching patient stories with us, and now we want to share them with you!  Take a look at the stories we have received on the Patient Impact Stories page, and be sure to send us more as you impact the lives of so many people!

Welcome to RHP 10

The Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) is now proceeding

with implementation of a five-year Section 1115 Medicaid Waiver,

Texas Healthcare Transformation and Quality Improvement Program:

Medicaid 1115 Waiver, which was approved by the Centers for

Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) in

December of 2011. Through this Waiver, we have an unparalleled opportunity

to re-shape health care in our communities and improve access to

quality, affordable care. As the public health care system for our region,

JPS Health Network will serve as the anchor facility.

Region 10 is composed of nine counties located in north Texas: Tarrant, Wise,

Parker, Erath, Hood, Somervell, Johnson, Ellis, and Navarro. Our shared vision

is a transformed Regional delivery system that actively collaborates across all

nine counties to provide integrated and coordinated care.

Planning and implementation of Waiver activities will be achieved through

the development of Regional Health Plans. These plans will outline
